Wow, I was hoping guys like that would get on Comedians in Cars... like Mel and Carl. It was really cool to see those two guys today talk to Jerry. I used to watch all the Jerry movies at my grandparents, they had a VHS player in the late 70s and tons of movies right away. He was always saying it was bullshit the Oscars ignored comedy and I agree, good comedy is just as difficult as any acting, maybe even moreso because you have to have that funny spark naturally.

Mad About You reruns are on constantly these days, just rewatched the Jerry Lewis season a week ago... the man was a comedic timing genius. RIP

Damn shame, the era is really fading now. My grandpa could do an impression of him, and had similar mannerisms, always makes me think of him.

The NYT had a great piece about Lewis yesterday. If video killed the radio star, TV killed the Vaudeville star. Were coming to the end of the era of the great performers.
